RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES

Sunlight and water power are the renewable sources of energy. They will not run out like coal, oil and gas. They one day run out but not know I hope you can understand that.

Energy from water:

Energy from water power is very less expensive. Dams are being constructed at suitable locations in different parts of the world .Dams serve many purposes. They help to control floods by storing water. The water stored in dams is used for irrigation and also for generating electric energy without generating much environmental pollution. 

Energy from the sun:

The energy we used from sunlight is called solar energy which is used directly or indirectly. Sunlight doesn't pollute the environment anyway the sunlight is the ultimate source of life on earth. We are dependent  on the night sun for all our food and fuels. If we find a suitable method to use a fraction of solar energy reaching the earth then it would be enough to fulfill our requirements.

Solar house heating:

The use of solar energy is not new. However its use in house and offices as well for the commercial industrial purpose is quite recent. C implicit solar house heating system is very successfully used in areas with a minimum amount of sunshine in winter a heating system consists of::

• A collector.


• A storage device


• A distribution system.

Solar energy is used in solar cookers, solar distillation plants solar power plant. Etc. Here is the complete structure of the solar heater.

A solar collector is made up of glass over blank metal plates. The plates absorb the sun's energy which heat a liquid flowing in the pipes at the back of the collector. The hot water can be used in solar cookers stock.

Solar cells:

Solar energy can also be converted directly into electricity by solar cells. A solar cell also called photo cell made up of silicon wafer. When sunlight falls on a solar cell, it converts the light into electrical energy. Solar cells are also used in calculators , watches and toys. Large numbers of solar cells are wired together  to form solar panels. Solar panels can provide power to phone booths, light houses and scientific research center panels are also used to power satellites.

Several other methods to trap sunrays are underway. If a scientist finds an efficient and inexpensive way to use so energy then the people would get clean, limitless energy as long as the sun continue to shine.

The energy we use comes from the sun, wind and water power etc. Actually the truth is all the energy we consume comes( directly or indirectly) from the sun.

FOSSIL FUELS:

We use fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas to heat our houses and run industry and transport. They are usually hydrocarbons. ( Hydrocarbons>>>compounds of hydrogen and carbon ). When they burn they combine with oxygen from the air. The carbon becomes carbon dioxide, hydrogen become hydrogen oxides which are called water. While energy is released as heat. In cases of coal:

• CARBON +OXYGEN------>carbon dioxide + heat energy


• HYDROCARBON + OXYGEN----->carbon dioxide + water + heat energy

The fossil fuel took millions of years for their formation. They are now as nonrenewable resources. The behind this is, they are difficult to recover. We are using fossil fuel at a very fast rate. Their use is increasing day by day to meet our energy needs. If we continue to use them at the present rate they will soon be exhausted. Once their supply is exhausted the world would face a serious energy crisis.

This fossil fuels would not be able to meet our future energy needs. This would cause serious social and economical problems for countries like us. Therefore we nests them wisely and at the same time develop energy sources for our future survival.

EFFECT ON HELATH: 

Moreover fossil fuel releases harmful waste products. These wastes include carbon monoxide, and other harmful gasses which pollute the environment. This causes serious health problems such as headache, tension ,nausea allergic infection, irritation of eyes ,nose and throat. Long exposure of these gasses may cause asthma , lung cancer, heart diseases and even damage to the brain, nerves and other organs of our body.

NUCLEAR FUELS:

In nuclear power plants we get energy as a result of fission reactions. During fission reaction heavy atoms such as uranium atoms split into smaller parts releasing a large amount of energy nuclear power plants give out a lot of nuclear radiation and vast amount of energy in the form heat. a part of this heat is used to run power plants while lot of heat goes waste into the environment.

IR BLOCKER BY USING 555 TIMER

As 555 timer is very popular and handy chip I'm going to show an amazing project by using a timer. This chip works in three modules like monostable, a stable and bistable mode. We will discuss all the modes. The timer acts as a one shot pulse generator ( it generates pulses ). In stable mode  it acts as free running mutivibrator. And  in bistable mode it works as a Schmitt trigger. It has a number of applications in linear ramp generator , time delay generation , pulse width modulation and things like that. But now we are going to see the IR instructor with 555 timer. Here is its circuit diagram. Thanks to those who made this design.

THINGS REQUIRED:

555 timer

Resistors

Capacitors

Transistor BC547

LED power supply.



In this circuit big block is of timer IC. Its pin 1 is connected to ground ( GND) and pin 2 is with pin 6, because it is threshold pin of ic.the pin 3 is connected to the base of a transistor BC547 whose emitter is connected to GND and the collector is connected to the power supply via ID diode /LED D1 and a resistor. The pin 4 of the timer is connected to pin 7 via resistor R2 ( of value 1k ) and finally pin 7 and pin 5 are shorted together in between two capacitors C1 and C2 of value 0.01µF and a potential divider of 2.2k. The pin8 is connected with a power supply.

WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THIS CIRCUIT ?

As engineers we should know what's happening in this circuit, because we are not ordinary technicians. The 555 timer used is in free running astable multi vibrator mode. It's raining at a frequency of 38 KHZ and duty cycle of about 60 %. Tv remote control works at a  frequency of 38KHZ so we create waves of frequency of 38KHZ too. So this will superimpose with the radiation of remote control and make it scrambled/jam ( not working condition). Thus the tv is will not able to respond the required pulses which is came from remote control anymore such as channel change, volume up, down etc.

Pulses drives the transistor Q2 the collector of which powers and IR diode D1 through a 100ohm resistor from the DC power supply of 6V.

HOW TO UNLOCK NOKIA SECURITY CODE

In this post i'm going to show you techniques through which you can easily unlock you are forgetting the code. I'm going to mention different steps you can try if any of them works in your condition. I have checked on my nokia 500 BELLE no one works but i found the solution after three hours. It looks very irritated when we face any problem with no solution.

First try Nemesis Service site (NSS):

 All you need is: NSS, NOKIA SUITE DATA CABLE. And just follow steps:

1. Install suite on your PC


2. Install nemesis service suite. DOWNLOAD LINK


3. Connect your phone through data cable to your PC and change it to PC suite mode. Or default mode


4. Open NSS 


5. Click scan for the new device button ( on the top right corner of NSS )


6. Click phone info button.


7. Click scan button.


8. Under power mode. Click local >>> then click >>the Change button. At this part your phone should restart and it should appear local mode across your phonescreem with blue color on white display.


9. Under this tab (Production data edit ) click read button. The textboxes should contain values. 


10. Check the enable button box beside product code.


11. Click write button


12. Select tool button which is on top.


13. click factory settings tab.


14. Trick full factory button and click reset button


15. Last and final step go back to phone info and click NORMAL then CHANGE now your security code is 12345.

If this fails, not working then try this :

1. All you need is again NOKIA SUITE, NSS pro ( NOKIA SERVICE SOFTWARE ). DATA CABLE, follow these steps  DOWNLOAD LINK


2. You must have the latest nokia suite on your PC.


3.  Connect your phone with your PC. You know how to connect :) and again choose PC suite mode.


4. Open NSS pro. Not simple open it. Run as administrator.


5. click Read info and you will see your phone details on left side.


6. To enter your phone in test mode. Choose a test mode on  bottom right and click right arrow (>). To reboot the phone.


7. Under factory setting select FULL FACTORY AND THEN CLICK RESET.


8. DONE NOW ENJOY.

NASA EXPOSE NEW SUN IMAGES

How our new sun will look like, NASA has unveiled its images. Its new observatory is already giving an unexampled glimpse of the sun. They release its first images from the interface region imaging spectrograph which is know as IRIS, which was launched one month ago.

These images show an active , dynamic  ( high energy) region. NASA expounds these spots that quickly brighten a NS dim. And threadlike towers of energy that reveal major temperature anomaly in the sun's lower atmosphere.. The IRIS satellite looks at the little understood lowest layers of the sun's atmosphere.

John Grunsfeld of NASAs science mission directorate in Washington, described (the moment )   when the solar observatory's telescope caught first glimpse of the sun on July 17).

WHAT ARE SOUND WAVES AND HOW THEY PROPAGATE

You can hear ( observe ) many types of sound in our daily life. Afar from our daily life talk some of them are just audible such as ( whispering ) of friends or the (rustling) of leaves while others are very loud such as sound of pressure, horns of busses or the shouting of children. Some sounds are pleasant to our ear while others produce jarring effect such as the sound of barking of dogs, the rattling sound of a tractor. But the questions are how is these sounds produced? How does sound propagate ? How do we hear sound ? What are the characteristics of (musical) sound? All these questions will be answered in this post. Stays connected.

HOW IS SOUND PRODUCED ?

Sound is in fact is the form ( style ) of energy and it is generated by a vibrating body. Whenever a sound is produced,  you can observe and felt the vibrations of the sounding body.

Place a pan upside down on  a table and strike it with a spoon, a particular sound will be heard. You can feel its vibration by touching it by finger. You can also analyze the vibration by putting some pieces of paper on it, which starts jumping.

We can conclude from the above experiments that sound is produced by a vibrating body. In other words we can say that a body can produce a sound only when it is vibrating.

NATURE AND PROPAGATION OF SOUND:

Now we understand how sound is produced, but how it moves to surrounding air? >>>During vibration, a vibrating body moves to and fro from its position and produce compressed waves in the  (surrounding ) medium. These compressional waves are known as the sound waves which travels from one place to another.

A specific type sound is produced by beating a tuning fork above a  rubber pad. The prongs of such a tunning fork begins to vibrate on a rubber pad. The prongs of such a tunning fork begins to vibrate. I will show you a vibrating tuning fork in picture 1.  Its right hand pane is shown vibrating about its rest mean position O. Between two points A and B. When the prong moves from A to B , it compresses the layer of air ahead of it. The compressed (compact) layer transfers its raised pressure to the air next to it. The compressed layer transfers its increased pressure to the air layer next to it. This process persists and the ( (compression) produced by rightward movement  of the pan, move outward. On reaching the point B the pan begins to move toward the point A.  During such a motion of the pong pressure in the air layer next to it decreases and a refractions are produced here. The first layer, where a rare fraction has been generated, transfers its lessen in (pressure) to the next layer and after doing it so it comes to normal state. This process also continues and the rarefraction produced in the first layer moves outwards. As the tunning fork continues to vibrate, two things (compressions) and (rarefactions) are produced and travel outward one after the other. Such a series of compression and rarefraction are the sound waves. As the molecules of air moves in the direction waves during their vibratory motion . We can conclude that that the  sound waves are compressible waves.

 We have observe that sound waves can travel through air. Sound waves can also through gasses , liquids and solids.

3. Connect your rebooting phone to PC and update your firmware. It will show that your phone is not connected but try try and retry it will finally connect with your phone from your mobile got a problem it will may not show the backup option but it will show update option.


4. If this technique not working then try this one. Connect your device with your PC without a battery inserted>>>> than open desktop manager ( you must have software version 5 or above) >>>you will see the error that it failed to connect and can't be updated>>>> BUT once the device reboots a point will come it will connect, the firmware keep an eye on desktop manager as you need to reinsert the battery it will show the screen of goodness ( it will show that it is waiting for the device to initialize)

Blackberry won't turn on red light flashing:

We in comics different hero uses their powers to defeat their enemy. One of the comic hero is a superman who uses his x-ray vision to see people behind the walls to see the bad guys. Now the same related thing came to reality MIT researchers in computer science and artificial intelligence laboratory have invented this technique. They have built a device through which we are able to see behind walls. This technology is very old but by using radars in which we use electromagnetic waves we can see moving objects but now through wifi technology this possible. This type of technology ( radar ) is generally used for military purposes. This system is developed by DNA katabi a professor at MIT and her graduated student Fadel Adib. Basically this is a low cost technology, portability and simple enough for anyone to use, that's it's one the amazing benefits. Layout analysis>>it identifies the type of layout scan columns , paragraphs, captions and thing like that as distinct blocks.

WILL FireFox OS SURVIVE?

It's the era of competition. Everyone seems to stand in a row for the race. Now Firefox OS came to market and stand with android and iOS but the question is, will it survive or it will be the next top OS?



The very first thing is impressive. It should impress android and is users with its new features and specifications but it was not able to do that. It launches its mobile with qualities already available in many mobiles. That's why Firefox not able to impress anyone. It is web based OS which is a very big question mark. Firefox made easier for peoples its usage with internet. These days internet is much advanced. But this OS is not so good in those countries where there is no internet connection available. It completely not gonna competes with the iPhone. Mozilla uses low market which is not so popular like Alcatel, ZTE. They don't have a very big presence in many parts of the world. It should sign up with high brands like samsung htc etc. Mozilla has done a great job of developing popular games and apps. But one thing is obvious that its store can't compete with Android and is stored because they are too old and have thousands of apps. This is a very negative point for F OS. For a layman it is not easy to run the new OS with little knowledge, mozilla has not kept this thing in mind and there is no educational center platform.
